THE 10 SERIES GOALS

1st Session

2nd Session

  • The main goal of session 2 is to create base of support. 
  • In this session, you will find your feet and sense of grounding upon the earth. 
  •  

3rd Session

  • The main goal for session 3 is opening the sides of the body.
  • We are creating the connection between the upper girdle and lower girdle through the sides of the body. 
  • Organizing the Lateral Lines of the body to balance the front and the back of the body. 
  • This completes the sleeve session before we dive deep in to the core. 

4th Session

  • Session 4 is the beginning of the structural and functional core opening. 
  • We are bringing the person to the deepest part of themselves on every level.  
  • We are on the working inner legs line - the inner seam of the legs. 
  • Our legs are pillars. The inner leg line creates the support for the core, it’s the central support of the body. 
  • This work influence the pelvic floor. Helps to release deeply held emotion and tension from the pelvic floor. 
  • This session creates deeper grounding, from the inside. 

5th Session

  • Session 5 is a session for core awakening. 
  • It is the continuous of core opening. 
  • We work on the upper part of the pelvis, the psoas, the deep front of the body. 
  • Putting the length in the front of the spine, to allow easier hip extension and freer movement 
  • Allows deeper opening of the breath in the front of the body 
  • Creates better connection between the upper and lower half of the body. 
  • We like to keep session 4 and 5 close together, as session 4 creates a sensation of splitting the body apart, and session 5 brings it all back together and creates integration. 
  • Releases deep emotions as we work deeply on the chest and torso. 

6th Session

 

  • Session 6 is the session of "breathing pelvis and sacrum"
  • In this session, we free the sacrum from the pelvis, in order to integrate it properly with the spine again. 
  • We work on the deep extensor of the spine. 
  • We connect the sacrum with the rest of the spine. 
  • We create the grounding of the heel, which allows the weight of the body to be evenly distributed down the whole back of the body. 

7th Session

7th Session

  •  Session 7 is a session for a "breathing cranium". 
  • We work on connecting the head (cranium) with the rest of the body. 
  • We free the head so that it can float on top of the spine.  
  • Your head is like a flower. So we've done the previous work to free the stem - i.e. your body - in order to allow it to properly support the flower (head). 
  • This session is about aligning the core with the head. So your deep core runs all the way to your throat and tongue.
  • This is the end of the core session.

Balance the upper or lower girdles into new functional movement

10th Session

10th Session

Horizontalize joints throughout the vertical system

Each session in these 10 series is unique and profound to the individual

Sessions 1-3: The sleeve

The first three sessions deal with differentiating the superficial myofascial layers in the body.

Sessions 4-7: The Core

The second four sessions happen after establishing adequate depth in the layers to be able to change the core. 

Sessions 8-10: Integration

The last three sessions are connecting the external and internal layers and refining how movement transmit through the structures.
